Winfield amps “Rosco” Yard sale This is essentially a “Parts bin special” I built it on a Stainless steel chassis that I found at a recycled building supply in Tucson. The Circuit is the “Rosco” volume, tone only. What no standby switch? We don’ need no steenkin' standby switch. The cabinet is uncovered pine. The front cleats are mahogany. This is what my regular covered cabinets look like before they’re covered. I opted to just put a couple coats of spar varnish on it. The speaker is a used Mojo Greyhound, which sounds a bit like a Vintage 30. The amp is tube rectified (5Y3), two 6v6 with cathode bias, no need to rebias when using new tubes. Long-tail pair phase inverter, so it has similar character to a Brown Deluxe. It is about 12 Watts, plenty loud, and bluesy. Currently the preamp tubes are a 12AT7 with a 12AX7 Phase inverter, but you can play around with them if you like. Blowout price: $650 plus shipping from 85606.

Like new Winfield combo. This is a used 18/30 watt combo with a Celestion Vintage 30. The power unit came from my personal amp. I built myself a new unit for that one. The cabinet came back on a trade-in, it's very clean, with four EL84 power tubes. If new, this model sells for $1,100.00. I’m offering this one used for $850 plus shipping. Cyclone in Burgundy Tolex. This is an EF86 version with an EF86 front end, a 12AX7 Phase inverter, two EL84s and a 5AR4 Rectifier. This is my answer to that British amplifier company that made those amps the Beatles used. Elizabeth Combo. This is the final Elizabeth I made. I no longer will make them. I made this one when I was in Arizona and put it in a cabinet when I got back to VT. It has an Eminence Legend 125 12" speaker in it, runs 6L6s, a 5U4 rectifier and has reverb. It is about 45 watts, Fender style cleans. It can handle 6V6s if you chose, but will need to be re-biased. It does not have an impedance selector, but can safely handle an 8 or 4 ohm load Normally this amp would sell for $1025.00 & I offer it now for $850, or $900 with Weber Ceramic California - plus shipping from VT 05842. Cyclone Head Amp. This is my answer to the other British amp from the 60’s It has an EF86 preamp, 12AX7 Phase inverter, two EL84s in Push=Pull configuration and a 6CA4 Rectifier. It’s about 15 Watts, just like the one back then. It has Volume, Tone, Master Volume and Cut controls. It is in a small Purple head cabinet, 17" wide, 6-1/2" tall and 6-3/4" deep. $730, plus shipping from VT 05842. SOLD!

Cyclone #2. This is a 15 Watt version of the other Brit amp from the 60's. 5AR4 Rectifier, two 12AX7's and two EL84's. Volume, tone, master and top cut controls. I've built a few versions of this in the past and this is the final version. The Master is switched so it can be taken out of the circuit completely.
